Sheltering Arms Institute is currently hiring a Full-Time Patient Access Coordinator. The role involves performing essential administrative functions critical to daily operations at designated locations, under the supervision of the Patient Access Manager. The Coordinator leads in process assessment, monitors department staff and work quality, educates and trains staff, manages reports, assists with staffing and scheduling, and acts as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders to uphold Sheltering Arms standards for excellence in customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills in a PC environment.
  • Ability to multitask, pay attention to details, and follow through.
  • Prior healthcare experience preferred.
  • Insurance knowledge is a plus.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; some college or business training preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in a business or healthcare setting preferred.
