Patient Access Coordinators (PAC) are the gateway to care for our applicants, aiming for one-call resolution. PACs will answer calls live, conducting high-level assessments to determine clinical appropriateness for our facilities and verifying benefits. They will collaborate with various roles within the organization to resolve caller issues on the first call and to schedule clinical assessments when appropriate. Customer service and sales skills, along with the ability to multi-task, are essential.
This position requires up to six weeks of on-site training at either The Betty Ford Center in Rancho Mirage, CA, or the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in Center City, MN. Training hours are Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM. Employees must demonstrate proficiency before transitioning to remote work, which depends on ongoing job performance, including attendance, punctuality, job metrics, and call monitoring.
