Job summary

Duly Health and Care is seeking a Patient Access Conversion Specialist to join our onsite team in East Dundee, IL. You will handle high-volume calls, schedule appointments, verify patient information in EPIC, and help create a positive patient experience.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 3 years of patient-facing experience; base pay ranges from $16.34 to $24.52 per hour, with additional incentives possible. This position is fully on-site and Monday–Friday, 8a-5p.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Patient Access Conversion Specialist

Hours: Monday through Friday between 8a - 5pm

Location: Onsite at Local medical Office- East Dundee

Responsibilities

• Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone


• Patient Appointment Scheduling


• Sets the tone for a positive experience


• Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)


• Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned


• Reviewing schedule


• Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol


• Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day.


• Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports


• Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED


• Three years of patient/client-facing experience

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.34 - $24.52, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
