• Pre-screens patients based on departmental protocol.
• Monitors schedules daily to fill all open slots the same day.
• Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports.
• Prepares charts from the Daily Appointment Report as needed.

Job Title

Patient Access Conversion Specialist.

Hours: Monday through Friday between 8a - 5pm. Onsite at Local medical Office- Oak Lawn.

Responsibilities

• Answers heavy call volumes to fulfill patient needs over the phone
• Patient Appointment Scheduling Sets the tone for a positive experience
• Verifies patient information, while documenting in their Electronic Health Record (EPIC)
• Performs all other duties/responsibilities as assigned Reviewing schedule
• Pre-screen patients based on departmental protocol
• Monitor schedules daily, ensuring that all open slots are filled on the same day
• Daily monitoring of patient scheduling reports
• Review the Daily Appointment Report and prepare charts as appropriate

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Three years of patient/client-facing experience

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $16.34 - $24.52, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
