Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking an Access Center Representative I to be the first point of contact for patients and providers. You will schedule appointments and answer inquiries across calls, emails, and messages, ensuring a welcoming and accurate experience from the first interaction.

Working within the Patient Access Center, you will coordinate with clinical teams to match patient needs with available slots, while upholding empathy, courtesy, and professionalism to optimize the patient

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 6 months+ contact center or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to multi-channel inquiries from patients and callers about appointments and services.
• Schedule patient appointments according to physician protocols and guidelines.
• Verify patient information and insurance using internal systems.
• Provide courteous, empathetic, and professional service at all times.
• Escalate issues to leadership when appropriate and document dispositions.
