Job summary

NYU Langone Florida is seeking an Access Center Representative I to be the first welcome for callers and to schedule patient appointments across NYU FGP practices. You will handle inbound inquiries and coordinate care with professionalism.

You will support a positive patient experience by active listening, accurate data entry, and adherence to established protocols while maintaining empathy and courtesy across multi-channel communications.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months in a contact center or customer service role preferred.
• Experience in hospital/clinic scheduling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inbound inquiries from patients and staff regarding appointments, referrals, and services.
• Schedule appointments for NYU FGP specialties using physician protocols.
• Enter patient information and verify insurance using dedicated systems.
• Demonstrate empathy, courtesy, and professionalism in every interaction.
• Meet call metrics and contribute to team performance and patient experience.
