Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of experience in a call center OR healthcare environment.
• Experience with EHR systems; EPIC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates a multi-line telephone system, answering and transferring calls, and taking messages promptly and courteously.
• Provides courteous and professional customer service regarding UCFS Health Center services, providers, medical records, scheduling, insurance, copays, and billing.
• Follows proper call handling procedures to ensure effective resolution.
• Conducts initial client intakes by entering demographic and insurance data into the EHR.
• Performs insurance verifications to inform clients about benefits for initial intake appointments.
