Job summary

White House Clinics is seeking a Patient Access Associate to greet patients, manage intake, verify demographics and insurance, and support clinic operations. You will coordinate scheduling, handle payments, and assist with daily reconciliation, ensuring smooth patient flow in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Evening shifts may be required; strong service orientation and communication skills are essential for delivering exemplary patient experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for front-desk interactions.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced clinic.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously.
• Answer and screen in-bound calls; transfer as needed.
• Schedule appointments based on guidelines and provider availability.
• Check-in patients; collect and verify demographics.
• Scan and verify insurance information and coverage.
• Enforce financial policies and collect payments; explain sliding fee program.
• Prepare documents and assist with check-out procedures.
• Complete end-of-day reconciliation and deposits.
• Follow up on no-show and recall lists; document reminders.
