Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle, or a related clerical/finance/retail/customer service role.
• Preferred: 3 years of Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience.
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility, present patient financial options/requirements and process patient payments.
• Secure patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.
