Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in healthcare revenue cycle or related roles.
• Experience in clinical, clerical accounting/finance/retail or customer service preferred.
• 3 years healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as patient facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographics.
• Calculates patient financial responsibility, presents options and processes payments.
• Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.
