Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• 1 year experience in healthcare Revenue Cycle or related role required
• 3 years healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred
• Prior Epic experience preferred
• Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association preferred or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred

Responsibilities

• Serve as patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department within Piedmont Healthcare.
• Ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and present options/requirements; process patient payments.
• Secure patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.
