Job summary

AdventHealth in Denver, Colorado seeks a Guest Services professional to manage patient registration, verify demographics and insurance, and support post-care financial needs. You will coordinate with clinical partners to ensure smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include collecting co-pays, educating patients on test locations and portal use, and ensuring accurate data entry from check-in through discharge. A high school diploma is required; CHAA is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate or higher in health services administration or related field preferred.
• High school diploma required.
• 1+ years in customer service with medical office experience preferred.
• Experience with medical terminology, coding, charge entry and payment collection preferred.
• Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls.
• Register patients and verify demographics, insurance and billing information.
• Facilitate discharge and maximize reimbursement.
• Educate patients on test locations and portal use.
• Request co-pays at check-in.
