Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Prefer one year of hospital or clinic revenue cycle experience.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Medical terminology required.

Responsibilities

• Works with a multi-disciplinary team to answer inquiries and questions.
• Toubleshoot problems and provide information.
• Handle referrals with professional customer service, telephonically or in person.
• Provide support for day-to-day operations in a health care environment.
• First and ongoing contact for all clients by phone or in person.
• Provides scheduling or patient enrollment for services.
• Enter/update demographic, billing and caregiver contact information.
• Verify third party payer coverage and collect self-pay balances.
• Schedule patients for planned clinical services and make referrals as needed.
• Remain calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment with multi-tasking.
