Job summary

WMCP WMC Physician Practices is seeking an administrative registrar to manage patient registration and billing information at our Weirton facility. You will collect demographic/insurance data, explain coverage details, and secure consent forms for treatment and payments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with patient registration and billing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Obtain demographic, billing, and insurance information from patients and enter into registration and billing systems.
• Explain insurance and hospital procedures to patients and obtain signatures on consent and financial documents.
• Collect deposits, co-pays, and patient liability payments and document receipts.
• Prepare patient armbands and balance daily receipts as needed.
• Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments according to workflows.
• Verify order completeness and align with scheduled services.
