Children's Orthopaedic and Scoliosis Surgery Associates, LLP is seeking an adaptable healthcare front desk/billing specialist. You will greet patients and families, answer high-volume calls, schedule appointments, and maintain accurate patient accounts in the EMR environment.

You will verify benefits, check eligibility, and process charges and point-of-service collections. The role supports accounts receivable activities and daily clinic operations while delivering outstanding patient service.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and providers.
• Interpret and understand medical benefits, including EOB statements.
• Experience with charge entry, insurance verification and benefit collections preferred.
• Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Outlook.
• Bilingual Spanish is strongly preferred but not required.
• Longevity and growth in previous positions valued.

Responsabilités

• Serve as welcoming first point of contact for patients and families.
• Answer phones, manage high call volumes, and schedule appointments.
• Create, update, and maintain accurate patient accounts.
• Perform insurance verification and benefit eligibility checks.
• Accurately process point-of-service collections and charge entry into EMR systems.
• Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and benefit collections.
• Support clinic preparation and day-to-day administrative operations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth clinic flows.
• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, and providers.
