AdventHealth Shawnee Mission in Kansas is seeking a Birth Center team member for Full Time Days, 7:00am - 3:30pm, to handle Medicare compliance reviews, patient financial responsibility estimates, and coordination with pre-authorization and insurance verifications. You will register patients, collect demographics, manage cashiering, and ensure accurate records while delivering excellent customer service.

Bilingual English/Spanish and a background in healthcare revenue cycle are preferred;

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; HS diploma required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and EMR systems; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform Medicare compliance reviews and issue ABNs as needed.
• Create estimates for patient financial responsibility and collect or arrange payments.
• Coordinate with utilization management for pre-authorizations and verify eligibility/benefits.
