Mercy Health is seeking a Scheduling & Billing Specialist for Arrowhead Imaging Center. The role coordinates and schedules patient testing and procedures, enters data into systems, and may serve as a receptionist.

The incumbent ensures accurate scheduling, staffing, and payroll processing while supporting physician offices and staff. Required are a high school diploma or GED with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Coordinate and schedule patient testing and procedures.
• Enter patient data into the computer system.
• Assist with receptionist duties as needed.
• Two years of scheduling and payroll experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, posts, and distributes daily schedules and communicates changes to staff.
• Secures replacement staff to meet staffing levels and informs supervisor.
• Reviews attendance for payroll accuracy and handles PTO requests per policy.
• Verifies patient information, equipment needs, and scheduling details with Registration/Admitting.
• Provides patient and physician office staff with testing and preparation instructions.
• Maintains patient records and compiles daily census statistics for reports.
• Obtains necessary insurance pre-authorizations and registrations as required.
