Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn multiple tasks and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and database systems; comfortable with basic software tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs Medicare compliance reviews and issues ABNs as needed.
• Creates accurate estimates for patient financial responsibility and collects payments or sets up plans.
• Coordinates with utilization management for pre-authorization issues and provides logistics information to patients.
• Contacts insurance companies to verify eligibility/benefits and obtains pre-authorizations within required timeframes.
• Registers patients for services, ensuring accuracy and avoiding duplicate records.
