Piedmont Healthcare Corporate is seeking a patient-facing support associate for the Patient Access Department in Augusta, GA. This role ensures insurance validity, demographic accuracy, and accurate calculation of patient financial responsibility while guiding payment processes.

Ideal candidates have experience in healthcare revenue cycle and customer service, with Epic experience preferred. This position supports completing accounts and obtaining required consents and acknowledgements.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical/finance/retail/customer service.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Epic experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide patient-facing support for the Patient Access Department.
• Ensure patient accounts are complete with valid insurance coverage and current demographic/clinical data.
• Calculate patient financial responsibility and present options/requirements and process payments.
• Secure patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms/notices.
