Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Support representative in Columbus, GA. You will assist in verifying insurance and demographics, calculating patient financial responsibility, and presenting payment options to patients.

This role requires strong communication and accuracy within our Patient Access Department. Minimum 1 year in healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical/finance/retail/customer service; Epic experience preferred.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related clerical/finance/retail/customer service.
• 3 years of healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred.
• Prior Epic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient facing support for the Patient Access Department.
• Ensures patient accounts are complete with valid insurance and demographics.
• Calculates patient financial responsibility and presents options.
• Secures patient consent and acknowledgement on required forms.
