Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; or related experience.
• Experience in medical/financial services and/or customer service environments preferred.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and preregistration; validates demographic data and verifies benefits.
• Verifies insurance information and coordinates authorization/referral requirements.
• Identifies financial responsibilities, estimates, collects liabilities, and processes payments.
• Delivers a positive patient experience and maintains relationships with patients and external contacts.
• Adheres to policies and completes mandatory training and education.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
