Responsibilities

• Obtain authorization for patient care and follow guidelines.
• Collect, review, and document demographics, insurance, and financial information.
• Verify insurance eligibility and coordinate with payers as needed.
• Maintain progress/tracking on outstanding authorizations for timely processing.
• Assist billing with claims/issues related to insurance authorization denials.
