Responsibilities

• Provide patients with information required by federal mandates (Patient Rights, Advance Care Directives).
• Obtain consents, assignment of benefits, and releases.
• Record religious preference and affiliation information.
• Assist with safe transport of patients.
• Initiate pre-certification and pre-authorization for services.
