Responsibilities

• Answers inbound and/or places outbound calls and directs callers.
• Schedules various types of appointments for physicians and clinicians.
• Contacts patients by phone to remind of upcoming appointments and provide instructions.
• Takes refill, lab and test result requests; assists with patient message callbacks.
• Organizes and follows up on paperwork related to patient care.
• Sorts mail, transcription, lab results, and diagnostic testing as assigned.
• Initiates referrals for specialist appointments or tests.
