Job summary

SmithRx is seeking an Inbound Patient Access Specialist in Plano, TX to guide patients through medication enrollment and savings programs while delivering world-class service. You will handle inbound communications, ensure timely enrollment, and strive for one-call resolutions with compassionate care.

Requirements include 2+ years in healthcare call centers, proficiency with Windows/MS Office/G-Suite, and knowledge of PBM systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in healthcare call center environments handling inbound calls.
• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Windows, MS Office, G-Suite; Salesforce experience preferred.
• Knowledge of PBM systems and health insurance plans is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; empathy and professionalism.
• Ability to multitask and manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Educate patients about their pharmacy benefits and help them source medications through various programs.
• Provide support to members, providers and pharmacies via inbound calls, email, and other channels.
• Handle enrollment calls for drug savings programs and resolve inquiries.
• Aim for one-call resolution and gather missing information to close cases.
• Understand and communicate Patient Access savings programs.
• Coordinate with members, physicians, drug manufacturers, and pharmacies to enroll in savings programs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and timely follow-ups for each member call.
• Uphold PHI and HIPAA compliance while delivering empathetic service.
