Job summary

SmithRx in Plano, TX seeks a Lead (Supervisor) for the Patient Access Team to ensure operational efficiency in procuring medications and enrolling patients in drug savings programs. You will lead inbound and enterprise specialists, oversee training, scheduling, and real-time workflows, and act as escalation point to deliver high-touch, one-call resolution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in healthcare or PBM call center environments.
• Experience helping patients navigate healthcare, pharmacy benefits, or PAPs is preferred.
• Strong communication and mentoring skills with a focus on coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage and mentor a team of Patient Access Specialists.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard new team members and lead initial training.
• Oversee call queue, scheduling, and real-time resource allocation.
• Act as escalation path for high-urgency calls and complex cases.
• Ensure KPIs like FCR, SLA, handle time, QA, and member satisfaction are met.
• Collaborate with Account Management, Clinical Strategy, and Operations.
