SmithRx is seeking an Inbound Patient Access Specialist to advocate for patient members, guiding them through enrollment in drug savings programs and ensuring cost-effective medication access with world-class service.

Responsibilities include educating members on benefits, handling inbound communications, and achieving one-call resolutions while upholding HIPAA standards. Local candidates may work from home part-time after onboarding.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates empathy and active listening during patient interactions.
• Clear and concise communication with members, providers, and pharmacies.
• Familiarity with healthcare call center processes and PBM knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Educate patient members about their pharmacy benefits and program enrollment options.
• Support members via inbound calls, email, and other channels.
• Handle enrollment inquiries for drug savings programs and resolve issues on first contact when possible.
• Meet KPIs for one-call resolution and timely responses while maintaining HIPAA compliance.
• Document all interactions accurately and thoroughly.
