Providence is seeking a Patient Admissions Coordinator to support on-site registration and arrival for both scheduled and unscheduled visits. You will manage demographic and insurance details, collect patient liabilities, and handle financial clearance under supervision, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance.

This role emphasizes a patient-friendly approach, adherence to policies, and collaboration with the Revenue Cycle team to maintain smooth admissions processes across on-site settings.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in healthcare or business administration.
• 3 years of experience within Patient Access or a business office setting.
• Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
• 3 years of utilization of medical terminology in a job setting.
• Knowledge of medical billing codes.
• 1 year of knowledge of Epic Applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients during on-site registration and arrival for scheduled and unscheduled visits.
• Complete financial clearance functions on assigned accounts.
• Register unscheduled visits by collecting demographic and insurance information and patient liability when known.
• Greet and assist patients in a professional, friendly, and respectful manner.
• Ensure information is accurate and documented in compliance with regulations and guidelines.
