Waterfront Rescue Mission in Mobile, AL is seeking a positive, productive Chaplain to provide compassionate care to clients in ministry programs. You will integrate Biblical principles into practical daily living, support recovery, and maintain confidentiality while working with staff and clients.

The role includes coordinating with the Mission Director and Ministry Management Team, delivering spiritual guidance, and assisting with education and employment counseling as part of a holistic

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 2 years ministry/leadership preferred.
• Must be able to write routine reports and present scripture.
• Must maintain client confidentiality and demonstrate ethical conduct.

Responsibilities

• Partner with clients to develop service plans focused on education, employment, and independent living.
• Provide case management, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide Biblical counsel and spiritual guidance in a nonjudgmental, faith-based context.
• Attend chapel, Bible studies, and life-skills programming.
• Maintain timely, confidential case notes in the system.
