Job summary

The Salvation Army Independence Corps in Missouri is seeking a full-time caseworker to coordinate Pathway of Hope services. You will conduct outreach, screen applicants, and develop case plans to help families achieve housing stability and economic self-sufficiency.

Responsibilities include intake, assessment within 72 hours, home visits, referrals, and collaboration with staff to deliver holistic support. Bilingual English/Spanish abilities and a compassionate, culturally sensitive approach are

Qualifications

• Education: degree in human services; prefer bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum of two years of case management experience in a comparable social service program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach to social services sites and community locations.
• Perform intake and assess eligibility for POH program.
• Develop and monitor case plans focused on housing stability and economic self-sufficiency.
• Provide information and referrals to community resources.
• Maintain case files and documentation, including progress and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with staff and contracted services to meet participant needs.
• Promote the Salvation Army mission and Christian values in service delivery.
