Job summary

The University of New Mexico invites applications for two full-time Pathologists’ Assistants within the Pathology department. The role combines clinical service, teaching, and research responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a NAACLS-accredited Pathologists' Assistant program with a Master's degree, or a Bachelor's plus 3–5 years’ related experience.
• ASCP-PA certification or eligibility within 1 year of employment.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical service and teaching across pathology specimens and residents.
• Perform frozen sections and intraoperative consultations.
• Assist in tumor banking and research activities; coordinate with pathologists and surgeons.
