Qualifications

• Must be qualified to perform high complexity testing under CLIA regulations.
• Formal pathologists’ assistant training program or OTJ training with ASCP certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs gross description and dissection of surgical specimens.
• Assists in preparation and performance of autopsies.
• Arranges photographs on all pertinent specimens.
• Organizes conference material.
• Mentors residents and students.
