Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a closely related field is required.
• 5 years of clinical experience with at least 2 years in supervisory responsibilities is required.
• Certification in medical technology or MT/MLT/MLS plus ASCP/AMT/AAB credentials is required for MT management; histology certs for Cytology/Histology are required for pathology management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental operations of the Laboratory.
• Ensure compliance of point of care testing and affiliated offsite areas.
• Monitor operations for safety, efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with nursing, administrative, medical and other staff to coordinate patient care and improvement initiatives.
