Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Laboratory Manager to oversee departmental operations and ensure safe, high-quality performance in the Laboratory. You will collaborate with nursing, administrative, medical, and other staff to support patient care and the facility's mission.

Responsibilities include compliance with point-of-care testing, oversight of offsite areas, and identifying system improvements as opportunities for growth in a dynamic hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Medical Technology or related field required.
• MBA or MHA preferred.
• At least 5 years clinical experience with 2+ years supervisory responsibilities, preferably in an acute care hospital.

Responsibilities

• Oversee departmental operations of the Laboratory.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with nursing, admin and medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Identify system problems as opportunities for improvement.
