Job summary

Johns Hopkins Medicine in Columbia, MD seeks an experienced Laboratory Administration leader to oversee the management of multiple clinical laboratories. The role reports to the Division Director and the Department of Pathology Administrator, providing leadership to a large group of supervisory staff across several laboratory disciplines.

You will collaborate with senior management to develop departmental goals, operational policies, and procedures, and ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical ability to resolve technical and administrative problems.
• Experience in coordinating across multiple laboratory operations.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Division Director and Department Administrator.
• Leads a large group of supervisory staff across laboratory disciplines.
• Manages multiple clinical laboratories and departmental projects.
• Collaborates with senior management to develop goals, policies and procedures.
• Ensures compliance with hospital and regulatory standards.
• Liaises with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
