Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Science or related field.
• Master’s degree in related Science and/or Management preferred.
• 8+ years of comprehensive laboratory experience.
• Leadership experience preferred; ability to establish and implement department goals.

Responsibilities

• Reports to the Division Director and Department Administrator.
• Manages multiple clinical laboratories and supervises staff.
• Provides leadership to supervisory staff across laboratory disciplines.
• Develops departmental goals, objectives, and procedures in collaboration with senior management.
• Monitors adherence to hospital and departmental policies/procedures.
• Acts as liaison for physicians and other healthcare professionals; participates in equipment and informatics evaluations.
