Job summary

The incumbent will work in Anatomic Pathology and Clinical Pathology, providing high-quality pathology services for patient care. Qualifications include MD/DO, unrestricted US license, and board certification or eligibility in anatomic and clinical pathology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an approved school.
• Current full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the US.
• Board certification or eligible in anatomic and clinical pathology.

Responsibilities

• Perform appropriate surgical pathology analysis and intraoperative consultations.
• Maintain JC and CAP accreditation standards within the department.
• Describe gross specimens, sampling, and SNOMED coding where applicable.
• Take photographs and photomicrographs for tumor board use and documentation.
• Provide 24-hour call coverage for Anatomic and Clinical Pathology needs.
