Job summary

• For foreign medical graduates, ECFMG eligibility must be met; COCA if osteopathic training applies.

Responsibilities

• Performs assigned tasks including quality assurance and participation in the Department of Laboratory Services and hospital committees.
• Attends fine-needle aspiration and renal biopsy procedures to assess specimen adequacy.
• Maintains JC and CAP accreditation through high professional standards and timely reporting of results.
• Cytology duties include screening and reporting non-gynecologic specimens and coding findings.
