PathGroup is seeking an experienced AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist for our Fort Wayne partner hospital in Indiana. This full-time leadership position blends clinical diagnostic responsibilities with laboratory oversight and a visible role in hospital leadership.

The ideal candidate will provide clinical oversight across transfusion, hematology, microbiology, and chemistry, lead quality initiatives, and collaborate with hospital staff to advance patient care.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • AP/CP board certification required.
  • Eligible for Indiana medical license.
  • Previous medical directorship or leadership experience preferred.
  • Excellent diagnostic, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong commitment to laboratory quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Provide clinical oversight for transfusion services, hematology, microbiology, and chemistry.
  • Sign-out of general surgical pathology and cytopathology cases.
  • Lead quality improvement initiatives and participate in hospital committees.
  • Foster collaboration among laboratory services, clinicians, and leadership.

PathGroup is seeking an experienced AP/CP Board-Certified Pathologist at our partner hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This full-time opportunity offers a blend of clinical diagnostic responsibilities and laboratory operational oversight, providing a visible role in hospital leadership and ongoing quality initiatives.
