Job summary

Matura Farrington in Chicago is seeking a Patent Docketing Specialist to support its Am Law 100 IP practice. You will manage critical deadlines, maintain the docketing database, and coordinate with attorneys and staff on domestic and international filings.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in patent docketing at a law firm, strong knowledge of U.S. and foreign prosecution procedures, and experience with Patricia or similar systems.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of patent docketing experience in a law firm.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. and foreign patent prosecution procedures and deadlines.
• Experience with computerized docketing systems (Patricia experience is a plus).
• Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and analytical skills.

You\'ll manage critical patent deadlines, maintain the firm\'s docketing database, research Patent Center, WIPO, and foreign patent office records, reconcile filings, and serve as a trusted resource for attorneys and staff.
