Qualifications

• 4+ years of substantive patent drafting and prosecution experience.
• USPTO registration; admitted to a U.S. state bar.
• Strong patent drafting skills and ability to understand complex technologies.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute sophisticated U.S. patent applications involving electrical, electronics, hardware, software, AI, and related technologies.
• Develop prosecution strategies for 35 U.S.C. § 101 eligibility issues, particularly for software, AI, and computer-implemented inventions.
• Work directly with inventors, engineers, and in-house counsel.
• Manage patent matters and portfolios with a high degree of independence.
• Coordinate international patent prosecution.
• Use AI-assisted patent tools and workflows to improve efficiency.
