The role requires USPTO admission, independence, and interest in high‑tech fields such as AI, software, and autonomous systems. Hybrid work model with 2–3 days onsite in DC; travel as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO and capable of independent work.
• Advanced degree in physics, electrical or computer engineering or related discipline required.
• 3–6 years of experience as a registered patent agent prosecuting patent applications; industry experience a plus.

Aufgaben

• Draft patent applications and responses to office actions for US and foreign applications.
• Support the Firm’s attorneys in the technical aspects of post-grant proceedings (PGRs, IPRs, reissues, reexaminations, and appeals).
• Assist with due diligence, invalidity and non-infringement opinions, and patent litigation.
• Maintain client relationships and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
