Piero’s Italian Cuisine in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a skilled Prep Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. You will bake signature tiered cakes and classic desserts, and maintain the high-quality, precise pastry standards that define our fine dining experience.

The ideal candidate has hands-on cake baking and pastry experience, can follow recipes to produce consistently beautiful results, and thrives in a fast-paced kitchen.

Qualifications

• Previous professional cake baking experience required.
• Pastry preparation in a restaurant, bakery, or professional kitchen preferred.
• Experience with tiramisu, crème brûlée, puddings is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and produce consistent results.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
• Able to work independently and manage daily production.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake signature tiered cakes (Chocolate, Carrot, Red Velvet).
• Prepare classic desserts (Tiramisu, Crème Brûlée, Rice Pudding).
• Measure, mix, bake, assemble, frost, and finish cakes with attention to detail.
• Maintain consistent dessert production to meet daily restaurant needs.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards.
• Store, label, and rotate ingredients and finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized pastry preparation area and sanitation procedures.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure desserts are ready for service.
