Job summary

Labadough Investments Inc in Laguna Hills, CA is seeking experienced bakers to support our bakery team. You will handle doughs, fillings, and morning pastries for multiple locations while maintaining sanitary, timely production. Start times are early, with opportunities for full-time or part-time roles.

Aimed candidates should bring passion for baking, strong teamwork, and willingness to grow with a family-owned business that values reliability during busy periods, especially November/December.

Qualifications

• One year commercial baking experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Making of doughs and fillings for pastries and cookies.
• Baking and traying of morning pastries for distribution to our locations.
• Prepare all food and baked items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
• Understand and complete daily prep list assigned by the pastry chef.
• Ensure all ingredients are in stock and communicate ordering needs.
• Assist higher level pastry cooks.
• Cleaning, sanitation and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers/freezer, and storage areas.
• Watch for and identify spoilage in product.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

$500 sign on bonus after successful completion of 90-day Introductory period.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Skills & Abilities

• Good basic knowledge of cakes, tarts, fillings, icings and dessert assembly
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to collaborate in a team environment with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays. Must be willing to work extended hours and be flexible during the months of November and December. Time off requests will not be granted during this period.
• Willingness to learn, ability to work independently and adapt to changing situations is required.

Schedule

Full time and part time available. Flexible, but we are seeking someone that must be available Sundays and Mondays from 4:00 am to 12:30 pm for one of the positions.
