Job summary

East West Hospitality is hiring a Pastry Cook for The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO. On-site, full-time seasonal role with weekend/holiday work, 5:30 AM–1:30 PM, $22/hour.

Join a high-energy pastry team, prepare desserts, learn new techniques, and contribute to a quality dining program. Prior kitchen experience and strong pastry skills are preferred. Physical capability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.

You'll work in a high-energy culinary environment creating pastry offerings for both the Market and main restaurant, with opportunities to sharpen your skills, learn new techniques, and contribute to a team that takes its food seriously. Duties Include

• Prepare pastry items according to recipes, production standards, and Chef direction.
• Maintain consistent quality, presentation, and attention to detail throughout production.
• Learn and apply new pastry techniques while safely operating kitchen equipment.
• Participate in tastings and provide feedback as directed by the Chef.
• Keep ingredients, tools, and the pastry workspace fully stocked, organized, and ready for production.
• Follow all culinary, pastry, food safety, and sanitation standards.

Location: The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa - Avon, CO

Start Date: ASAP

Employment Type: Full Time, Seasonal

Schedule: 5:30 AM to 1:30pm. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $22 / hour

Previous kitchen experience is preferred, along with strong pastry skills, accurate product measurements, and the ability to multitask. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, work well under pressure, and possess strong organizational, time management, and delegation skills. Good communication—both written and verbal—is essential, and the role may require lifting, carrying, pulling, or pushing up to 50 pounds.
