Job summary

East West Hospitality is hiring cooks to join The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa in Avon, CO. You will prepare and cook menu items, manage prep, and ensure quality while working as part of a dynamic kitchen team.

The role emphasizes food safety, efficiency, and collaboration to deliver exceptional dining experiences in a high-paced resort environment.

Qualifications

• Previous line cooking experience preferred.
• ServeSafe certification a plus.
• Solid understanding of kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, season, and cook a variety of menu offerings following recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
• Complete prep work and stock stations to support efficient meal service.
• Practice proper food handling, labeling, and rotation to maintain quality and reduce waste.
• Track ingredient levels and notify leadership when replenishment is needed.
• Adhere to sanitation, cleanliness, and health regulations.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, season, and cook a variety of menu offerings while following established recipes, portion guidelines, and presentation standards
• Complete prep work, stock assigned stations, and ensure everything is ready to support efficient meal service
• Practice proper food handling, storage, labeling, and product rotation to maintain quality and reduce waste
• Track ingredient levels and notify kitchen leadership when replenishment is needed
• Adhere to all sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety requirements, including company policies and local health regulations
• Work closely with chefs and fellow kitchen team members to maintain smooth operations and provide an exceptional dining experience
• Keep workstations, equipment, and kitchen areas clean, organized, and service-ready throughout every shift
