Job summary

Hai Hospitality in Washington, DC is seeking Pastry Cooks to join the kitchen team and craft desserts for dinner service. The role includes baking, sauce work, and chocolate pieces, and follows a morning to early afternoon shift (7am–3pm).

Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively with guests and staff.
• Identify safety issues and follow safety guidelines.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and restock inventory.
• Stand for extended periods and work in hot/cold temps.
• Maintain a neat, organized workspace and proper food handling.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce desserts for dinner service.
• Assist pastry team with baking, sauces, chocolate work.
