The Indigo Road Hospitality Group is hiring a Pastry Cook in Bentonville, AR. You’ll learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef, prep and bake desserts, and help execute the Pastry Chef’s vision while sharpening your skills.

Responsibilities include dessert production using standard recipes, adherence to portion sizes and standards, daily prep and closing checklists, and reporting any shortages or issues to the Pastry Chef or Executive Chef. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is required.

Competenze

• Minimum of one year experience in a pastry kitchen.
• Ability to work with a team and support staff.
• Able to read and understand basic baking directions.
• Effective communication with managers and guests.
• Flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Constant standing and walking with occasional bending or lifting.

Mansioni

• Prepare all dessert and baked items on the menu using the Standard Recipe Card for preparation of all products.
• Adhere to standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures and perform other related duties as assigned by the Pastry Chef or manager-on-duty.
• Complete a Daily Prep List and Closing Checklist for each shift for assigned duties while maintaining a clean and sanitary work station, adhering to all DHEC regulations; this includes tables, shelves, walls, ovens, pastry/dessert equipment and refrigeration equipment.
• Promptly report all product shortages, equipment problems or food quality issues to Pastry Chef or Executive Chef.
