The Indigo Road Hospitality Group in Washington, DC is seeking a Pastry Assistant to learn from a seasoned Pastry Chef while contributing to daily dessert production. You will prep and bake pastry items, support the pastry team, and help maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

A minimum of one year in a pastry kitchen and a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays are required.

Qualifikationen

• 1+ year pastry kitchen experience.
• Positive energy and team player.
• Ability to read and understand baking directions.
• Strong communication with managers and staff.
• Flexible schedule: days, nights, weekends, holidays.
• Constant standing and walking; occasional stooping or lifting.

Aufgaben

• Prepare all dessert and baked goods per Standard Recipe Card.
• Adhere to portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and procedures.
• Complete Daily Prep List and Closing Checklist; maintain a clean, sanitary station.
• Promptly report shortages or equipment or quality issues to Pastry Chef or Executive Chef.
