Job summary

Toca Madera Scottsdale is seeking a kitchen team member to support chefs in high-energy, fine-dining service. You will set up and stock stations, prep desserts and sauces, and cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen staff.

Candidates should have night/weekend availability, be able to stand for long shifts, lift up to 35 lbs, and ideally bring prior fine-dining experience. We value teamwork, strong sanitation, and a passion for quality.

Qualifications

• Must have night / weekend availability.
• Must be able to stand for the duration of shifts.
• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 35 lbs.
• Prior fine-dining experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Set up and stocking stations with all necessary supplies
• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping fruit, or preparing sauces)
• General Understanding of pastries and piping skills
• Cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
• Answer, report and follow executive or sous chef’s instructions
• Clean up station and take care of leftover food
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Ensure that food is finished simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
